Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through Force Professional Tools.
By placing an order with Force Professional Tools, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Cancellation Rights
Customers may request to cancel an order, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy. Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible to avoid processing and fulfilment costs.
Force Tools reserves the right to accept or decline cancellation requests based on the order status at the time of the request.

2. Cancellation of Online Orders (Standard Orders)
Online orders may be cancelled provided that:
• The delivery driver has not yet been dispatched, or
• The courier service has not yet been arranged or booked.
Once the driver has been dispatched or the courier booking has been confirmed, the order is considered fulfilled for shipping purposes and can no longer be cancelled.
In such cases, customers must refer to the Returns Policy for further assistance.

3. Special Orders and Non-Stock Items
Special orders include any items that:
• Are not normally kept in stock,
• Are a specific quantity that is not kept in stock
• Require special procurement specifically for the customer.
Deposit Requirement
• A 50% deposit is required before a special order will be processed.
Cancellation of Special Orders
• If a special order is cancelled for any reason after it has been placed and processed, the 50% deposit will be retained by Force Professional Tools.
• This deposit retention is necessary to cover procurement, administrative, supplier, and logistics costs already incurred.

4. How to Request a cancellation
To request a cancellation, customers must contact Force Professional Tools using one of the following methods:

Please include:
• Full name
• Order number
• Date of order
• Reason for cancellation
Cancellation requests are only considered confirmed once acknowledged by Force Professional Tools in writing.

5. Refund Processing
Where a cancellation qualifies for a refund:
• Refunds will be processed via EFT.
• Refunds may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider and banking institution.

7. Policy Updates
Force Tools reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.


Returns Policy

Standard Return Policy
If the customer is not completely satisfied with a product purchased, the customer can return the product to us, either for an exchange or a refund/credit.
Only items returned within a 24 hour period of the date of purchase, will validate a refund, whether it was a cash or card purchase. For any items returned after the 24 hour period, the customer will not receive a refund, but a Credit Note Voucher will be issued to the value of the returned product. This only applies to refunds and not exchanges.
Products can only be returned if they comply with the following:
• The product is unused, undamaged and in the same condition as when it was purchased
• The product is in the original packaging (if applicable)
• The product is not missing any accessories or parts
• The customer must provide proof of purchase
• The customer can return a product within 7 days of purchase
We are entitled to inspect the product to validate the return. Please allow up to 5 working days for this process to be completed.
We will advise via email to inform the customer of the approval or rejection of his/her credit or exchange.

Credit Note Vouchers:
If the customer is not satisfied with a product purchased, and the customer returns the product after 24 hours of purchase, in the same condition as when it was purchased, a Credit Note Voucher will be issued to the value of the returned product.
Terms & Conditions of Credit Note Vouchers:
• Only the original Credit Note Voucher, no substitutes or copies, will be accepted when redeeming this credit.
• No replacements will be given for lost or misplaced Credit Note Vouchers
• Only exchanges, no refund for credit
• The Credit Note Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of issue

Exchanges:
• Products can be exchanged for a different size variation, provided such a variation is available.
• Should the cost of the variation be less than the cost of the product being exchanged, a credit will be given within 7 working days. Alternatively, the customer can purchase more products to make up for the variation amount.
• Should the cost of the variation be more than the cost of the product being exchanged, the customer will need to pay the difference in order to exchange the product.
Not what the customer ordered
If we accidentally delivered an incorrect product to the customer, or if the product that the customer received is not as described on our website, please notify us and we will arrange for the product to be brought back to our showroom. Once we’ve inspected the product and validated the customers’ return, we will either deliver the correct product to the customer as soon as possible (if the correct product is available), or issue a credit to the customer to the value of the purchase price.

Defective products:
A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristics of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect.
The following will not be regarded as defect and will not entitle the customer to a return/claim, as tools are manufactured to perform specific tasks:
• Faults resulting from normal wear and tear
• Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product
• Damage arising from failure to adequately care for the product
• Damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product.

Standard Warranty
If the customer has received a product which turns out to be defective or otherwise of poor quality, please notify us within 30 days of purchasing the product.

The customer will need to return the product for us to inspect. Once we’ve inspected the product and validated the customers’ return, we will advise accordingly on how we suggest proceeding further.

Gift Vouchers
If the customer spends R6000 excl Vat or more at Force Professional Tools, the customer will receive a Gift Voucher to the value of R500.
Terms & Conditions of Gift Vouchers
• Gift Vouchers cannot be returned for a refund
• Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash
• If a Gift Voucher was used to purchase a product, the product can not be returned in exchange for a credit/refund. The product can only be exchanged for a different product.
• The Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 months after the date of issue.
• No Gift Voucher will be accepted after the expiration date

Charges for Returns
If the customer returns a product to us, but the customer fails to return all the accessories or parts that were sold with the product, we are entitled to either refuse the return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories which will be for the customers’ account.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your credit.


Delivery Policy

Domestic Shipping (South Africa)
We deliver to all physical addresses within the borders of South Africa.
Please note that we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
• Shipping Costs:
• Main Centres: A flat rate of R100.00 applies regardless of order value.
• Regional/Outlying Areas: A flat rate of R250.00 applies regardless of order value.

• Delivery Timelines:
• Main Centres: 2-4 business days (may vary based on courier company used)
• Regional Areas: 5-7 business days. (may vary based on courier company used)
• Order processing: orders are processed within 24 hours on weekdays. Orders placed after 15:00 on a Friday will only be dispatched on the following Monday. Orders placed on a public holiday will only be processed on the following working day.

Collection & Click-and-Collect
You may choose to collect your order from our showroom in Boksburg at no charge.
• Availability: Ready within 4 hours of payment confirmation.
• Requirement: Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID.

International Shipping
We do offer international purchases, however, the customer is responsible for arranging a courier service and payment thereof.

• Customs, Duties & Taxes (Important): The recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for all import duties, customs clearance fees, and local taxes (VAT/GST) levied by the destination country. We cannot predict these costs.
• Documentation: We provide a Commercial Invoice and a packing list for all international orders.

Shipping Restrictions
Certain items in our catalogue are subject to shipping restrictions:
• Hazardous Materials: Items such as lithium-ion batteries (shipped separately), pressurised canisters, and certain industrial solvents cannot be shipped via air freight and are restricted to domestic road transport only.
• Restricted Destinations: We do not ship tools to countries currently under South African or international trade sanctions.

Tracking & Delivery
• Tracking: Once the package has been collected by the courier company, the courier company will notify the recipient that the package has been collected and provide the recipient with tracking details.
• Risk of loss: Risk passes to you upon collection of the package by the courier company.
• Damaged Goods: Please inspect your package upon arrival. If the packaging is visibly damaged, please note this on the waybill before signing and contact us within 24 hours.
